Al Qamra Holding is committed to promote healthy living through sport and physical exercise, in line with the objectives of National Sport Day and Qatar National Vision 2030’s Human Development Pillar, therefore invited all its employees to attend National Sport Day celebrations, in Aspire Zone, on 9th of February 2016. Lots of us were there to enjoy the good weather, socialize with our colleagues and of course exercise!

Health Tips to get you started:

Be positive.
A positive attitude can help to strengthen your immune system and boost your overall health. Your body listens to what you are thinking, so think positive.

Focus your efforts.
With all the healthy living advice on offer, it’s easy to be overwhelmed – start by addressing just one habit that is detrimental to your health. This could be quitting smoking, reducing your junk food habit, or swapping the couch for the gym for 10 minutes a day.

Improve your diet.
Try to eat five portions of fresh vegetables and fruit each day – this will go a long way to meeting your nutritional needs and supporting your wider efforts to get healthy. At the same time, reduce your intake of processed food.

Exercise daily.
There is no way around it – if you want to be healthy, you have to exercise frequently. Just ten minutes a day can help to keep you fit and reduce the health risks associated with ageing.
